Standby Continues.....

Here are your primary and yet necessary rules for surviving STANDBY travel:

1.  It is an adventure!  Be loose, be comfortable, bring snacks!

2.  It will not always save you money.  Lets see.... hotels in strange cities, all-nighters at the airport,  airport cuisine at Top of the Mart prices.

3.  Be flexible..... oh wait, that is what you promise you will be when you get hired to work for an airline.

4.  Have a computer to look up other flight options, routing's and some "maybe I could buy a ticket" money.
(That was a last minute desperation move)

5.  Leave early enough that you won't stress if you are not there yet.

6.  Be friendly.  You will meet some amazing people; i.e. standby's, people who look like standby's, staff, and flight attendants.

7.  If you are running to the next gate for your connecting standby flight, DO NOT go to the bathroom when they are calling standby passengers.  UNLESS, you are senior to me..... then, enjoy the go.

Now, we continue with our journey to connect to our Next Adventure.......
